What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is over 125 years old with the first chiropractic adjustment recorded in 1895. Chiropractors are primary contact practitioners registered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Chiropractors spend 5 years at university studying the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the nervous system and the spine and how they affect our health.

Chiropractors work at correcting joint misalignment which improves movement and function of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Our chiropractors use a range of techniques including manual adjustments, low force techniques such as activator and drop piece, cox traction, soft tissue and rehabilitation exercises.
